  October 11, 2016 - Plums, dark cherry. The wine is out of balance for me to be honest. The fruit is nice enough but the acidity is a little sharp. I feel it has passed its best. Possibly a bottle issue, but I won't be rushing to buy any more.

  10/13/16, 12:57 AM - I've had similar problems with the 2006 vintage. There seems to be quite a bit of bottle to bottle variation. When they're good they're great, but otherwise very ordinary. Seems to be a bit of a crap shoot. It don't remember this being an issue with earlier vintages (back in the '90s), so it may be a recent phenomenon. I wonder if it has anything to do with the cork. Maybe they should follow the crowd and move to stelvin.
