  October 15, 2016 - Inky crimson, very concentrated. Mid-plus weight. Very fresh nose of wet stones, iron filings, and blackberry gastrique. Austere palate, though very smooth. Not yielding a ton of flavor, yet; but flashes of rich fruit. I'd say these are still early days for this wine's development.
