Community Tasting Note

  • wineguy75 Does not like this wine: 80 points

October 16, 2016 - I bot 3 bottles. Opened 1st. Very sour and not much else in the taste, little aroma cardboardy, likely corked. So opened 2nd. Smelled like detergent and tasted like it. Definitely corked/TCA. So opened 3rd. Tastes like a Cali pinot which I would rate very well at 94 points. All 3 were drunk side by side and all different, 2 flawed. I will never buy this producer again and I recommend others against it. For a 2012, unacceptable conditions at the winery to have 2 of 3 bottles tainted with TCA, likely due to how they clean their equipment based on my understanding of what would cause this issue. So for $225 can buy 1 good bottle of wine and waste time on 2 others. Pass.
