  October 30, 2016 - A big thank you to good friend Sandy Porter for bringing this. A very pleasant and now mature but still quite youthful premier cru burgundy from an excellent producer that is a very good QPR wine. Popped and poured and did fine but would recommend a short decant if time allows. Dark red, soft mouth feel, medium bodied, well integrated, tannins present but softening with a reasonably long aftertaste. Sweet red cherry and black pepper on the nose after the funk blew off with a somewhat bright flavor profile of balanced oak and raspberry up front with a more earthy spicy finish. Definitely recommend this wine.
