  November 16, 2016 - Muted nose, difficult to get a lot from. Subtle, dark flavours, not overly complex and a little bit subdued all round. Balance is fine, just lacking in charm and depth. 2001 is starting to open up, but is quite tough on the left bank on this showing. Right bank wines have been significantly more fun for me in this vintage
