  November 19, 2016 - Nice aroma of earth and ripe red fruit. Clear ruby. Mid weight, though leggy. OK mouthfeel with dusty tannins and decent balance. Earth and spices on the palate with bright red fruit. I've never been crazy about syrah (Italian syrah tends to be an exception); but this has a bit of the characteristic that I can only describe as "soapy". All things considered, I like this wine, but I won't drink it again.
