  November 22, 2016 - A lush, though a bit shallow, modern Cabernet that could use another year or so. Dark purple in color, full in body, nose of black cherry and licorice. Tastes of blueberry, milk chocolate, and cedar, with a nice though brief finish. 14.8% alcohol. Blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, and 2% Petit Verdot. Despite having fruit in spades, this lacks depth in the mid-palate, which is a bit frustrating at this price point. It has some structure to improve with time, but I doubt it will ever be great.
