November 24, 2016 - Decanted earlier, this wine is on the extreme side of dark and opaque.
Nose reeks of morning bakery and fried bacon.
First sip, hint of garrigue, iodine.
Sip two, smokey peat fades into seaweed.
And to think, I offered a couple extras to Tom and George, sorry guy's, this wine is a keeper.
Sip three, kamasutra kemosabe, pleasant, intense.

11/26/16, 10:31 PM - Having taken the plunge, can you posit a drinking window/maturity date/decanting strategy for those of us with only one or two bottles?

11/27/16, 7:16 AM - Hi Babik, you asked, drinking window, for my taste, now - 2026.
Decanting strategy, when its not pop and pour, I decant, toss the dregs, refil the clean bottle, hours before.
    cheers
