  December 2, 2016 - A little disappointing as I had high expectations given prior bottles. This came across as youthful and a little cranky, refusing to wake up. 4hrs alter as the bottle was essentially killed, it finally woke up some. Nose of smoke, flint, and some leather. Black fruited palate, mixed with smoke and mocha notes. Fine tannic backbone. A little leather pokes through on the palate which was really the only clue to it's age--otherwise seemed very young. Good, not exceptional exceptional bottles. Prior bottles were more expressive.

  12/10/16, 11:33 AM - Sounds closed down now. It seems that would be consistent with this inference from the other recent reviews as well.
