12/7/16, 7:16 PM - Thanks for your note. "Champagne & Fried Chicken Dinner"? Oh my ears and whiskers, that sounds special. Yes, we agree this blanc de blancs is very nice and very good QPR. A winner!

12/8/16, 5:21 AM - This 2013 base bottling seems outstanding and, unlike other releases, doesn't seem to need much bottle time and it's ready to roll. Has a bottle past January and was delicious, loved it on palate.

12/8/16, 3:02 PM - The interesting thing for me is that I tried the 2010 Pierre Péters Champagne Grand Cru l'Esprit, just a few weeks earlier and it was much less interesting and almost twice the price. I think this one delivers really good value!

12/9/16, 6:03 PM - Keep in mind these are very different wines. The cuvee reserve base wine is a solera that nowadays is 20+ years old, hence it adds a readyness factor the Esprit (vintage) lacks at the same moment, as the later needs more time in bottle offer what it has. Recently had the 2010 and it was very good. Needless to say, I love all Peters lineup. A great choice!
