December 6, 2016 - The new world wife was shocked this was French. Full bodied, purple and blue fruit. Lush, bold, fairly complex. Good finish. Not at all a Bordeux but went well with chili.

12/7/16, 10:07 AM - Well, it is not at all a Bordeaux wine because it is from the Northern Rhone! Such wines do tend to be more full bodied and fruit forward than Bordeaux, and more approachable to folks who prefer new world wines. Thanks for your note!
