  December 8, 2016 - Medium dark garnet, almost completely opaque. Very pronounced aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, smoked meats. Very elegant and complex nose. Viscous, with slow "legs". The flavor is extremely soft and round, yet still viscous and mouth-coating, building on the palate and becoming a bit hot, with flavors to match the aromas. Smoky and musty on the very long aftertaste. Seems perfectly mature and drinkable, not as powerful as some of their others but maybe even better for just that reason. Nearly perfect!
