12/30/16, 2:30 AM - Hey Vintage1949 aka Dave! Great to have you back. We would say more strawberry at the moment, but slowly maturing towards the forest floor...

12/30/16, 4:40 AM - Yup...aside from "interesting", we share the "wonderful"! Last night we had a 2005 Gevrey-Chambertin...Oh My Ears and Whiskers. Yet again, great to have you on-line with us again!

    12/30/16, 4:42 AM - Hi BuzzzzOff,
Hey I think I just ran into some luck. My wife likes diamonds for her birthday and Christmas (no-not the big ticket items) and I suggested she buy me a half case of Bollinger Anne 2005 for my birthday and 2004 for next Christmas. The heck with sweaters and stuff. And since I was sick and we did not do anything for a year a little extra money left over. Hope this idea flourishes. Dave Great talking to you again. Dave

12/30/16, 4:47 AM - Outstanding!!! We are not fans of baubles, consider Uniglo to be "tuxedos", do not like cars and other "things"...we focus purely on consumables, i.e. sipping 'n snacking. Great bubbles are, well, great!!!

12/30/16, 5:03 AM - Thinking-yup 6:52 a little early to pop a bubbly. I have to confess I bought new a 2004 Boxster S. It turns out it is cheaper than my wife's cars. Looks brand new-I am short-fits me like a glove-feels like they designed the car just for me. Mechanic said easy 250,000 miles. After 12 years 60.000 miles-so the car will last at least as long as I do. But yes-wine is my all consuming passion. My cellar in two years should be finished. I just use cement blocks and boards for magnums and double magnums. My friend put together a wine rack in two hours. (Lucky to have him as a friend) So in about two years all the categories of wine should be filled. -Dave Heading back to bed -could not sleep.

12/30/16, 7:03 PM - Ha, we just looked up what is a Boxster S...initially thought it was a dog, but even tall people can fit like a glove with any breed ;-). One of us does not even have a license having decided, quite tongue-in-cheek that driving is for peasants, uncivilised and one only should engage in the same when sitting in the back seat :-). Great to read about the cellar!!! We are in our third year of enjoying our cellar...a daily visit!!!

12/31/16, 3:05 AM - Yup-I do not have to do a struggle to get in the car unlike someone in court years ago trying to put on a pair of leather gloves.
