  December 22, 2016 - Pre-Holiday WDTS: Dark red color. PNP, drank 1 glass over an hour. Quite the brett and barnyard fest going here. This was one of the more pronounced examples I've seen in awhile from Pegau. Hints of effervescence and a tad bit of VA as well. This gets better over the hour and starts to show more balance with a good bit or Herb de Provence and tart cherry and kirsch. A little sharp on the finish.

  4/15/17, 8:58 AM - Interesting note Kevin. Sounds like a far different bottle (in terms of provenance) than what I had a couple years ago. That bottle I had was stunning. Hope my remaining two drink like that one.
