  August 1, 2015 - This followed a '69 Lascombes. This surprised the most (though not the better wine). Beautiful bright and clear garnet. No bricking, only lightly thinned at the edge. Vibrant nose of fleshy red fruit, fresh wet herbs and earth. Very fresh and robust on the palate. Unctuous and dripping with red fruits; this was assisted by tannins that were fully integrated, though noticeable. Very clean with great balance. A real over-achiever.
