January 11, 2017 - This continues to be the family "Celebration" wine. We might have better and we surely have more expensive, but this, as our largest purchase of one vintage of any wine (5 cases) continues to be our favorite. Originally tasted from barrel, it is now in prime time.

1/12/17, 3:49 PM - I met Christian Moueix at a tasting event in Chicago about two years ago. I spoke to him and he indicated that (at that time, anyway) his family was drinking '05 Magdelaine as their "everyday" wine because it was "so good".

2/17/17, 9:02 PM - Hi Grapist, are you drinking another vintages of Magdelaine? Do any of them rise to level of the 2005 vintage? Thanks, John
