  January 21, 2017 - Generally I have been very happy with the Kirkland wines and find them to be very good for the price. This one was a swing and a miss. Rather bitter up front. Over oaked, harsh, and has an astringent taste. Not fruity. Nose is earthy and muted. Unlike some wines that need to breath and they get better, this one got worse.

  2/26/17, 8:31 PM - Funny, I thought the exact opposite. Oak integrated, quite fruity. Perhaps you had a bad bottle?
