February 10, 2008 - Alcohol: 14%
Cork Type: Synthetic
Nose/Bouquet: Spices, Black Cherry with a hint of Dark Chocolate and Mocha
Flavor/Palate: Smooth Plum and Cherries with some citris
Finish: soft generous tannins and hints of coffee, vanilla and chocolate.
Color: Deep Garnet
Chill Factor: 60 F
Decanter/Breathing time: 60 minutes
Potential: Could Cellar until 2010, but can drink right away. I believe we caught this wine at the beginning of its peak.
Food: Good before, during and after dinner. We drank it with a Tortellini with Red Sauce and the rest afterwards.
Overall Opinion: An Outstanding medium-full bodied fruity Shiraz wine. We would buy this vintage again by the case. Good for a beginner starting their cellar.3,703 views
