  February 11, 2008 - Opened and decanted right away. Was tight for the first 20 minutes, but opened up really nicely after that. Went for dinner, came back 2 hours later and the tannins had softened up very nicely.
  Smell was black fruit, some earthiness, tobacco and leather. Wasn't your typical Californian cab, more reminiscent of a Bordeaux style wine which i was happy with as i'm not too fond of the fruit bomb that is commonly found in the new world. Great drink. Would like to age my last two bottles for at least 2 more years. Great buy at 35 a bottle, but would never pay 118 a bottle for this (LCBO Vintages price)
