  February 2, 2017 - 50/50 Grechetto/Viognier, aged in large oak and chestnut barrels. Pear, melon, sweet lime, peach, floral, perfume aromas. That and oak on the palate. Medium+ body, high acidity, high alcohol. Long finish with nutty, perfumey, citrus rind notes lingering. I will aerate for a while on the next one to hopefully tame the initial oakiness and heat and perfume. Well balanced, nice complexity, long finish - all signs of a very good wine.
