  February 3, 2017 - The color in the glass was opaque ruby with bricking around the rim. At first the nose showed manly mushroom and sweet spice then with a little air the nose really blossomed with tart red cherries, leather, roses, and a menthol note. Finish was never ending and what a thrill to drink this! The Ducs is really Grand Cru quality and has tremedous aging potential. This is a true bucket list wine. Drink up.
