  February 6, 2017 - After having a bottle of this that perhaps wasn't perfect about 4 years ago, this wine is singing right now. Really crisp and fresh with good bite but very delicate and aromatic at the same time showing some herbal notes (fennel and even a touch marzipan in the mid palate once it opened a little more) and just a tinge of earthiness (from the amphora no doubt) with a really long but not over-tannic finish. If you close your eyes and take a sip sometimes you can almost feel a passing waft of grassy Styrian meadows on a summer evening :-)
