  February 7, 2017 - Amazing Wine. 2.5hrs decanted. Opens to warm molten chocolate cake. Raspberry jam, and forest floor. The tannins have shed and this wine is now entering its mature plateau. Drink this today or enjoy it over the next 3 decades. It is no doubt built for the long haul. It would be interesting to put side by side it's younger sibling the 1990 in 20yrs and see who wins. The 1989 is truly legendary!
