  February 15, 2008 - My first experience with this distinctive 100% cab franc (I'll submit my correction to the forum immediately after this post-it's not a "blend"). Quite dark in the restaurant light. Slightly herbaceous minty nose with deep draughts of plummy fruit. Very round and balanced with evident sophistication in the texture. I bought this in Siena last summer and carried it home. Not that it isn't available here but it seemed like a good deal at the time and I wasn't disappointed.
  
  Ok, I missed the wiki entry below-the site's convention is to keep Bordeaux blend though it's been 100% CF since '01. Will remember to check before I make my next pronouncement.
