  February 12, 2017 - Garnet to purple rim. Warm spice on the nose with black fruits. Notes of cedar also on the nose initially. Tannins were there, but restrained. Moderate acidity. With time this developed some meaty aromas, especially on day 2. The nose just keeps you coming back, very enchanting. The finish is long here. This wine speaks to pedigree, you can tell this is a 3rd Growth property, even if this is the second wine.
