  November 16, 2016 - Blindverkostung mit Freunden. #12 Nachdem man sich am Schwefelvorhang etwas vorbeigeschoben hat, ebenfalls stark von der Primärfrucht geprägt. Ein Kaleidoskop an mürben, gelben Äpfeln, Birnen, Ananas, Zitronenmelisse, Sternfrucht, Marille, Drachenfrucht, Quitte, Heu und etwas weißem Nougat. Im Mund mit mittelkräftiger Säure, körperreich und viel Extrakt. Am Gaumen wieder etwas Zitronenmelisse, welche auf eine Ansammlung exotischer Früchte und süßlicher Würze trifft. Langer Abgang. Ein recht extrovertierter Wein, jedoch etwas weniger komplex als der vorangegangene Clos des Papes blanc. 91+

Notes of mushy, yellow apples, pears, pineapples, lemon balm, starfruit, yellow apricots, dragon fruit, quince, hay and some white nougat. The palate is full-bodied, with medium-strong acid and a lot of extract. Again, lemon balm on the palate, which meets with an array of exotic fruits and sweetish spices, ending with a long aftertaste. Quite extroverted, yet somewhat less complex than the Clos des Papes blanc. 91+
