January 28, 2017 - Slow-oxed 2 hours. Dark almost purplish in colour. Nose of red fruits and menthol. Full bodied with sweet tannins, full of red fruits, spice and black pepper. Hints of vanilla from the oak that is well integrated. No green herbaceous notes that one might get from Syrah. Velvety mouth feel. Well balanced and good to drink now. Excellent QPR.
