  December 2, 2016 - I tasted this wine at a local wine retailer, after the bottle had already been open for 6 days. Still very enticing nose with lots of blackcurrant, blackberries, mulberries, mocha, graphite, a touch of licorice and cedar wood. Good structure, with a well-integrated abv of 15% and notable, compact tannins. Fleshy and elegant. The long finish is accompanied by notes of cocoa pastilles and blackcurrant, with the latter being more of the drying out sort, rather than the sweet one. Really nice wine, which should be a lot of fun during the next 6 – 8 years.
  
  Nach 6 Tagen im Anbruch verkostet und noch immer verführerisch mit viel Cassis, dann Brombeeren, Maulbeeren, Mokka, Graphit, etwas Lakritz und Zedernholz. Schöne Struktur, mit trinkig verpackten 15 Vol.-% und präsenten, kompakten Tanninen. Fleischig und elegant. Langer Abgang mit Kakaopastillen und Cassis im Nachhall, aber dem austrocknendem Cassis und nicht dem süßen.
