  February 20, 2017 - No detailed notes taken, but my well-stored bottle had a surprising amount of pleasure left to give. Fully mature, of course, with notes mostly in the savory realm -- some cherry, but mostly earth and tobacco, with a nice sense of balance. Drink up, but if your bottle's in good shape you can look forward to doing so.

  5/18/17, 4:40 AM - I opened one late April and same experience. It also had a very long and pleasant finish. The wine was still rather opaque in its core with brown edges. Next bottle will be drunk with food, as this wine pairs well with a variety of dishes.
