  March 18, 2017 - Decanted for 2.5 hours and then another 1.5 hour in bottle with cork removed. Absolutely decadent nose of licorice, cassis, pencil lead and tobacco. Amazing the tannin left in this wine. Gorgeous deep blackberry color in the glass. This fooled everyone blind as a 2000+ or younger right banker. As a 27 year old left bank Bordeaux I'd back the truck up for more. Incredibly long, delicious, robust dark plum fruit finish. 99 points.
