  March 28, 2017 - PnP at dinner last night. Beautiful nose of dark red berries and black fruit. Wonderful balance. Been awhile since I have opened any KB and this reminded me how well made they were. If you catch the right drinking window this is a superb example of Pinot. Fruit is fore front but not overpowering and balance is excellent. Plenty of acidity to match food. Long, lovely finish. Regret I don't have another bottle. Santa Lucia Highlands is producing outstanding Pinots and this bottle rivals any from Sonoma Coast or RR.
