There is a significant point difference between you and.the professionals as is the case with this wine including comments. The result being I pass on the wine when your comments are negative. Since I have been tasting wine for over 45 years I trust my palate and putting faith in your comments regarding a wine is a new step for me. Please be advised I am only talking about inexpensive Bordeaux as I have not ventured into this domain. I need to buy inexpensive wine for parties at my house or when being invited to a friends house where the guests are not wine savvy.
Am I a wine snob-absolutely yes. As I am an older guy life is to short to drink wine that does not please my palate. Since I am unfamiliar with a second wine of a chateau or inexpensive Bordeaux I look for simple guidance.
Are all my wines expensive? No. But my cellar needs about three to five cases of good quality Bordeaux.
So be advised-grin-you are being wine watched. Thanks for posting your notes. If I can get a case (12 different wines) out of most vintages of Bordeaux I will be a happy camper.
If you have any wine ideas please let me know. Once again thanks for taking the time to post your notes.
