  March 2, 2008 - Decanted and aired out for an hour. Nice blast of vanilla and dark fruit on the nose. More plum, cherry liquor and vanilla in the mouth. Tannis are very evident and overwhelm the fruit. Medium finish strongly influenced by gum coating tannins. I wonder if the fruit will last long enough for the tannin to settle down. For $20, I'm not complaining, but the wine is a little out of balance at this stage. Hold.
