    May 24, 2017 - Although I will probably like it, I don't like it now. It's pretty unpleasant. Face ripping tannins over dark fruit. Candidly a mighty, even great bottle, but not good to drink now. That said, everyone else in the room loved it. Thought it was the 'best ever' Etc. Also, someone had already told them how great it was.

    8/5/17, 1:06 AM - I recently popped a perfectly stored 89 Lynch and the tannins were also off the chain. They were a paper tiger though, I double decanted, put it back in the cage for a night, and the next day, they were GONE. I have some 2005 coming in and going to see if I get similar results. Lynch Bages is such a beautiful wine when it lets go.
