  May 20, 2017 - 39th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2012s (R&D's): At first this is a bit herbal, maybe even "weedy." Red fruit, pepper and stemmy flavors. Opens up nicely though, showing pepper red fruit and raspberry qualities. Finishes with good length and plenty of briary red fruit.
