May 31, 2017 - Oak and smokey notes are prominent, but the wine is lighter and crisper than the nose suggests. The fruit does seem to be fading a bit as the oak notes are a bit overpowering. May be time to begin drinking remaining bottles. Purchased for $25 on clearance, which is a steal, but $50 is pushing it for what this bottle delivers.

I gave away my other bottle of Roza, but the Frenchman Hills and Moxie are excellent - all Burgundian qualities, but a kind of fruit presence that set them apart.
