June 1, 2017 - Deeply impressed by this master piece. Hard to imagine any other italian wine that can deliver such intensity, depth and complexity at once. On nose multilayered, mind blowing purity, richness and of countless scents. Sweet cherry, boysenberry and blueberry jam, bubble gum style, several toasted nuances, burnt coffee grain, toasted peanuts, distinct walnut, amazing honey fervency, deep spiced herbs and pepper, referring to basil and rosemary, maybe sage or mint, as well as floral scents, lavender and cloves. It keeps shooting, never stops. Huge palate attack, sweet on front, causing goosebumps after swallowing. As solid as it gets, perfectly balanced and beautiful Integration between acids and oak. Big cherry jam, of the hook concentration, licorice, cassis, pepperoni, bacon and hot spices, delivering the longest finish one could imagine. Truly amazed by this nectar and can only imagine what this bottle has to offer in 5 or 10 years. 97-98
