June 24, 2017 - You just can't go wrong with hunter '14s. Many would argue infanticide drinking so soon - and I'd probably be one of them - but I bought long and was curious. This is really enjoyable now. Some bright red fruits coming out of a solid black fruit core. Some smokiness too. Lovely now and will be cracking in around 10 years.

6/30/17, 6:53 AM - Interested to know, did you decant at all? Had one at a restaurant with friends about a month ago and it really made me realise how much this wine needs either a lot of air or a lot of time to rest in the bottle.

6/30/17, 2:33 PM - I took the top off a few hours before serving, but no decant. And showed best 3-4 hours later at the end of the night. Should benefit pretty well from several years in bottle.
