July 1, 2017 - Quite lovely. No sense of where this wine is on its aging curve, but very good with Vietnamese food at Doi Moi in DC. Softer, very rich with light citrus and floral notes. Well balanced. Lovely mouthfeel. Clean finish. Not at all oxidized. Still has years ahead of it.

8/6/17, 1:00 PM - Stevehyde -- I had the 2004 Musar Blanc last night and it showed very similar to the 2001 we shared -- I made the comments about how clean it was, compared to some of the Musars Rouges, and the lack of oxidative notes. It was delicious at a new Italian spot and really accented both the earthiness of some manila clams with pasta and some heat in puttantesca sauce complementing octopus -- so a very versatile wine!
