  June 7, 2017 - Tasted blind. Deep ruby purple color turning violet at the rim with a transparent edge. The nose is quite fruity with ripe dark berries in the foreground, accented by a lavender bouquet. The palate displays a full body with a velvety texture. Flavors of blueberry, blackberry, mulberries, plum, dark chocolate and kirsch dominate up to the mid palate, followed by a long, bittersweet finish with hints of dried herbs. Drink now until 2027. 94+
