  July 8, 2017 - Interesting to see the variation of notes on this wine. Our restaurant bottle tonight was pristine. Youthful and fresh, perhaps even a bit reserved on the nose initially. However as it warmed a bit in the glass and accompanied a seafood based menu, it opened up and impressed with precision, real depth and reserves of power. Waves of refined intensity on the finish. Pure and elegant throughout, with an uncanny ability to pick up on nuanced notes in the dishes and lift the combination into new levels of complexity.
  
  In other words, perhaps more subtle than say a grand cru Raveneau, but very impressive and far from the experience of the more reserved notes here.
