  July 8, 2017 - This wine was tasted opposite a Barbera from the Vajra vineyards. The Travaglini was very good but lighter then the Babera. Tannins slightly more pronounced but the wine is near to peak. As the bottle sat open for several hours it became a bit thin but was still quite good. Smooth palette from start to finish with bright fruit notes and a somewhat alcoholic aromatic. Somewhat dry and mildly austere and definitely not a fruit bomb but plenty of elegance. Go figure.
