  July 15, 2017 - A trip to Napa Valley with some friends about a decade and a half ago and we all bought a collection of these ATS Merlots. Opened this with same said friends on a bit of a lark, not expecting it to still be drinkable. So my score is based on zero expectations. Cork was 25% saturated. Much better on night 2, less astringent. Amazingly there is still some dark fruit here. Not bad, not great. But that is on us for keeping these too long. Tip of the hat, Cuvaison. This must have been truly special at its peak.
