  July 21, 2017 - This 8 year old version did not disappoint: aromas of blackberry, cassis and pepper, that were slightly woody in nature, led to a palate of cocoa, blackberry, cassis, some smoky notes and a peppery spicy finish with some lovely hints of licorice ... I really thought that wood note from the nose would play a part on the palate but I was happily proven wrong. Has at least a year or two left at this level of enjoyment.
