July 30, 2017 - First time trying a high end Israeli Cab. Bought two to let one sit but we will see. Color is good. Deep purple, opaque and clear. Nose is a mix of dark fruits with hints of toffee and chocolate on the back end. Slightly floral. Full, big mouthfeel. A bit fruit forward for me generally but it is balancing a reasonably hot wine at 14.5 so it works. I also just opened this with no aeration so I bet this one is going to open up really well and age well. Alcohol is a bit high for aging but it has the structure and fruit to match. Balance is good and finish lingers a bit. Not staggering on the balance or finish but again this may develop/ Going to do some more research here. Also going to score now but revisit in a couple hours as I think this one will change.
