  August 11, 2017 - Really enjoyed this wine with pizza. Really liked the wine better when I knew the price. Bright ruby hue. Nose is not overly distinguishing-- red fruit. Nicely balanced, med-long finish, cherry, slightly tart at beginning. Wife and I were surprised. Given community responses, we've learned that it's all a matter of the moment. Perhaps the great cool evening with family made the wine taste better. I'd be willing to try another bottle-- but will have to search it out.

  8/12/17, 5:09 AM - Tony, there are a lot of good Chianti's at this price. We've not had this one but we really like Felsina, Rodano and Monsanto. The entry level wines aren't going to blow your mind, but they are good young and they can age. We probably have more Felsina in our cellar than anything else.
