  August 12, 2017 - Hanzell Visit and Tasting (Hanzell Estate Sonoma California): Our first tasting at the winery. The Sebella is from new chardonnay vines planted just next to the Ambassador Vineyard. A light straw colored wine that provides aroma of green apple, candied lime, and other tropical notes. The wine does not go through malolactic fermentation, so the taste provides refreshing, crisp flavors of green pear, green fruits with some light mineral notes. Very nice acidity! A solid wine, which should be enjoyed over the next 3 years. Score 90
