  August 22, 2017 - Very well-rounded Rhone blend though it lacks some depth - surprisingly drinkable now and doubtful that it will last more than 5 years - would love to hear contrary opinions

  8/23/17, 7:36 AM - I totally agree that this is not a long term wine. (And a bit of a disappointing wine at that). I think a year of time might better help to integrate the overall flavor profile, but I see this becoming muddled and fairly flat after 5-7 years. Who knows, as predicting a wine's lifespan can be a moving target. That's just my 2 cents. Thanks for the note.

  8/23/17, 7:58 AM - Yes, I was surprised at how accessible it was on first opening (and quite good - hence, my 93 ), and that had me worried. The next 1-2 years will be interesting. Meanwhile, drink up!
