  September 7, 2017 - Pretty great -- tons of refined fruit now (2017), no wood, still not-bricked in terms of color. Not overwhelming in terms of alcohol. OK, I praise this wine in terms of what it isn't, mostly. But a 20 year old vintage of Syrah is likely to suck, and this bottle is really great.
