  September 18, 2017 - Sweet and concentrated black cherry, goji berry and cranberry fruit. The mid-palate is a dusty playground, with some sweet herbal notes and dark chocolate in providing some balance and counterpoint. The tannins are firm and ripe and there is a generous helping of slightly unintegrated oak. The wine has a very long finish and is well balanced. It is not a bad wine by any means, but just too sweet for me. It really demands to be drunk with some rich umami food.
